Our Ol' Buddy Buford the Bear Passed Away  on June 10, 2009. We'll miss him.

He loved all the attention he got from our customers and friends!

Buford the Bear was born on February 5, 1980.

Buford was a character you'll not  forget quickly. 

Ronnie's black bear had been raised from a cub.

 

There are pictures in our store that tell the story of how a man and a bear created a bond that few have ever known.

 

Buford enjoyed drinking soft drinks and relished the opportunity to eat watermelons and honey buns. He also enjoyed fresh fruit from local farmers and fruit stands.
